I can recommend
Picasa. Everything you need to enjoy your digital photos in a single software product:
- Auto-transfer photos from your digital camera.
- Organise and find pictures in seconds.
- Edit, print, and share photos with ease.
- Create slideshows, order prints etc.
And since the company was bought by Google Picasa is free.
Audio is popping up everywhere on websites and now it is being delivered via Flash it is very accessible. If you want to experiment, Tony Harrison of

Just back from a trip abroad and pleased to find that staying connected was no problem using
Maglobe. MaGlobe is a Prepaid Internet ISP, allowing you to access the Internet while traveling, from all worldwide locations with a single Username and Password - This makes Internet Global Roaming very easy. You are provided with local phone numbers or freephone numbers for any location in the world. Look up a city near where you are, dial the number and you are in. I use the $12.99 prepaid Maglobe Traveller package and top up every now and then.
